A quick event enables you to schedule pickleball play for a date/time outside of scheduled open play times. Any club member can quickly enter it into the calendar and make it so others can register and join in. After all, the main purpose of our web site is to make it easy to get together and play pickleball!


Here is How!

  1. Go to the website at www.acpc.clubexpress.com and log in. If you forgot your userid or password or have any other problems, follow the instructions on the home page.
  2. Click on the Events tab on the upper part of any of the pages on the site.
  3. Determine the date/time of the event you want to create.
  4. Click on the Add QuickEvent button at the top right of the calendar.
  5. You will see a form that must be filled in correctly to create the event. As always, on this site, any field with a red dot next to it means a response is required. Fill in the form as follows:
  6. Title: The title should, at least, contain a value representing the time of the event so people can see at a glance if it is a time they are available. Examples: (Open Play at 8, Open Play at 2, Pickleball at noon, Pickleball at10:30). This field is required.
  7. Short Description: This is optional
  8. Category: Select Unscheduled Play as it makes the event stand out in a different color, on the calendar, than scheduled play.
  9. Visibility: If Visible to members only is selected, only logged on club members will be able to see the event on the calendar. If Visible to everyone is selected, anyone, including the public will be able to see the event.
  10. Mobile Channel: We don't have one. Ignore this field.
  11. Contact Person: Defaults to the person creating the event. It should be left as is.
  12. Show Email?: Should the email address of the contact person be displayed in the details of the event?
  13. Show Phone?: Should the phone number of the contact person be displayed in the details of the event?
  14. Notify on Registration: Check this box if the contact person wants to receive an email for every person that registers for the event. The email contains the name of the registrant.
  15. Event Date/Time: Click on the calendar icon and pick the date for the event. Click the clock icons for From and To and select times for them. This is a required field.
  16. Registration: Select Recommended. Any other selection will probably be undesirable.
  17. Are Cancellations Allowed?: If you want people to be allowed to cancel their registration, select Yes.
  18. Cancellation Cutoff Date/Time: This is only displayed if you allow cancellations. Choose the date/time as you did for the Event Date/Time field. Two hours before the Event Date/Time is a good choice.
  19. Registrant Type: Select Everyone. This field is required.
  20. Registrant List Visibility: Choose who you want to have the ability to see a list of people who have registered for the event.
  21. Maximum Guests: Ignore this field. Leave it at zero.
  22. Location: ArrowCreek Pickleball Courts is recommended.
  23. Ignore the rest of the fields unless you find them useful.
  24. Click the Save button. This will take you back to the event calendar and your newly created event should be visible on the calendar.
  25. Click on the event. Click on the SignUp Now button and be the first to register for your event.
