Hello and Welcome to the ArrowCreek Pickleball Club website!

What is Pickleball? The USA Pickleball Association (USAPA) has a very good description.

We hope that you will enjoy learning about our program and become familiar with the other activities and play times. You can find out about the activities by clicking on the Event Calendar tab. We host open play times, special clinics and tournaments for our club members, and instruction clinics.

Program and Club History

On March 30th, 2016, a group of folks responded to a flyer about interest in Pickleball. Approximately 25 people came to the meeting and we were off and running. We held clinics for new players on Sunday mornings, then added Thursday mornings and Tuesday evenings. We played on the highest tennis court at the ArrowCreek Residence Center that had lines for one court painted on it. As we grew, we started taping other Pickleball Courts on the remaining tennis courts. When we were able to play on three courts and still had players waiting, it was time to approach the ArrowCreek HOA about getting us Pickleball Courts.

Like any new event; the startup process was hard and intensive. We struggled for several months gathering support and we finally got the ArrowCreek HOA to agree that Pickleball was worth converting the top tennis court into four Pickleball courts. Our beautiful new courts opened on September 25th, 2016. On October 4, 2016, we became a formal club.

Things you should know about how we run our club and our program.

There are several documents that will be helpful for you to read that can get you more familiar with our program.  These documents are:  Club Bylaws, Court Rules, and Guest Policy.  They can also be found on the club website under the Documents tab. Again, the Event Calendar can also give you great insight to our activities and the News tab will provide the latest info.

Also, for our comfort and shade, we have attached Brown Tarps that are hung on the fencing behind the benches. You just have to hang up the top of the Tarps with the bungee cords that are attached to the Tarp. Please be kind and put the tarps back as you found them for the next group, open the gates between courts and tie them to the fence so they don't get damaged in the wind.
